Joseph P. Muscarella is a Partner with a focus on medical malpractice, general liability, labor law, and professional liability litigation. He represents clients at all stages of litigation, from inception through trial, in both state and federal court. He has successfully secured civil defense verdicts for his clients at trial.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Mr. Muscarella served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Muscarella served in the Trial Division, where he gained extensive trial experience, prosecuting a wide array of felony cases, including attempted murder, kidnapping, burglary and gun possession. As a trial attorney, Mr. Muscarella secured multiple convictions.
Mr. Muscarella graduated law school from St. John’s University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Muscarella was an esteemed member of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute. As an alumnus, Mr. Muscarella has served as an adjunct professor in trial advocacy at St. John’s University School of Law where he taught trial advocacy techniques to law students to prepare them to compete in regional and national mock trial competitions. Mr. Muscarella also serves a Village Prosecutor in the Village of Rockville Centre.
