Ms. Master represents healthcare providers, long-term care facilities, and other clients in complex litigation matters. Her experience includes defending medical malpractice, professional liability, healthcare, commercial and general liability, insurance, and dram shop claims. She regularly evaluates medical records, treatment histories, expert opinions, and other evidence to assess liability, causation, damages, and potential exposure. Her litigation experience includes legal research and analysis, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
Ms. Master brings a unique perspective to healthcare litigation developed through years of experience working on medical malpractice and healthcare matters before becoming an attorney. Prior to practicing law, she worked as a paralegal supporting complex medical malpractice and healthcare defense matters from discovery through trial preparation. She also gained experience in healthcare law and regulatory matters through legal positions with UPMC Corporate Legal and Highmark Health, including work involving Medicare and Medicaid, health insurance, compliance, and risk management.
Ms. Master earned her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2024, where she received a Fellowship for Academic Excellence and a Trial Skills Scholarship. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, and completed post-baccalaureate coursework in medicine and law. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
