Samantha Panny is an associate in the firm’s Valhalla office. Ms. Panny is a part of the firm’s medical malpractice and general liability practice groups. She represents physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals and insurance companies in medical malpractice and mental hygiene actions, as well as COVID-19 related litigation. Prior to joining BPN, Ms. Panny successfully defended matters concerning legal malpractice, other professional malpractice, insurance coverage litigation as well as regulatory and grievance matters in state and federal courts. Ms. Panny also served as nationwide counsel for large corporations concerning general and product liability litigation, asbestos litigation as well as business related disputes and general business counseling.
In 2016, Ms. Panny graduated cum laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she received a B.A. in political science and a minor in history. She went on to receive a J.D. from Penn State Law School in 2019. While in school, Ms. Panny interned at the New York State Supreme Court in Putnam County with the late Honorable James Reitz in family and drug courts. She also interned with the Town of Carmel New York Judge Thomas J. Jacobellis. Ms. Panny is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York as well as the Eastern District of New York.
